Saturday 21ST March - Spring Equinox

Today is the Vernal Equinox, the first day of spring when the sun enters the house of Aries. Spring lasts till the summer solstice on the 21st June. Daffodils, the first swallows or call of the cuckoo are all said to herald this season of new life and growth. A Premier cake marks the first day of spring.
