Stamford's week-long Mid-Lent Fair is considered the country's premier street fair. It traditionally rolls in on the eve of Mothering Sunday and starts setting up after the church service. It fills the central streets with rides, stalls, bright lights and fair sounds. Look out for the Cakewalk this year!
