St. Clement Danes Church on the Strand, London, claimed to be the St Clements of the 'Oranges and Lemons' rhyme. On a weekday in late March it holds an annual service dedicated to children at the end of which each child is given an orange and a lemon. There used to be a St. Clements Church in Stamford at the top of Barn Hill.
