"For work on the poster I was interested in using various typefaces, like the examples of old music hall posters I had seen. The research and experimentation lead me to spend a lot of time on co-ordinating scale and typeface together whilst trying not to detract attention away from the information about the project that would help people to participate and enjoy it.

As I rarely experiment with typography (my work is very image based) I enjoyed the experience as an opportunity. I also enjoyed doing some visual research to add a touch of humour to the nostalgia and attached some images to luggage labels on one or two prints that made reference to bygone eras when cakes were baked. The results made me realise it could be a start to future development.
